DAEC® (Digital Automatic Exposure Control) is the flagship technology of CareRay PLDR system solutions; an integrated smart technology that solves problems experienced with traditional AEC/ionization chambers. Panels equipped with DAEC® offer a convenient and portable system with better overall longevity. DAEC® can be implemented by our Gen3 panels, as well as the CareView® 1800Le.

DAEC® streamlines the clinical workflow by eliminating the need for external AEC devices. CareRay PLDR technology makes X-ray imaging more mobile, simplifies the digital imaging process, and reduces the overall cost of X-ray systems and system upgrades.

Exceptional technology results in consistent DI indication and precise dose control, resulting in zero dose loss for exceptional low dose care and extended product life.

When imaging, digital information from selected ROIs is used to project the desired dose and control X-ray exposure. Once initiated, the X-ray will automatically terminate when the projected target value is reached.

An image preview is generated in less than 4 seconds. DAEC® facilitates excellent image quality at optimal dose, reducing the need for repeat exposure.
